The Debate


The date has been set for March 20th at 7pm, in Founders Assembly Hall 152 at York University.


Stephanie Gray, the executive director of "Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform" has been selected to take the pro-life role. Stephanie has given pro-life presentations across North America as well as in the United Kingdom, Latvia, and Costa Rica. She has spoken at post-secondary institutions such as the University of Toronto, York University, University of Calgary, Johns Hopkins University, George Washington University, and the University of Sussex in England. She has also spoken to high schools, churches of various denominations, seminaries, and pro-life organizations. Stephanie has debated abortion advocates such as Ron Fitzsimmons, executive director of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers, and Dr. Jan Narveson, Philosophy professor and recipient of the Order of Canada, and abortion doctors.

Molly Ladd-Taylor of York University has volunteered to take the pro-choice stance. Molly is a professor at York University, specializing in history. Her degrees include Ph.D., American Studies, Yale University; M.Phil., M.A., American Studies, Yale University; M.A., American Studies, Case Western Reserve University; and B.A., Honors in History, Oberlin College. She has written an extremely substantial body of books, book chapters, book reviews, and journal articles in areas related to U.S. social & political history; women’s history; health & welfare (especially mothers and children); and eugenics
